By using Cy-Noir, you acknowledge this Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, do not use the game or related services.

Cy-Noir is an independent project operated by an individual creator based in Canada.

## **1. Scope **

This policy covers Cy-Noir services wherever they are offered, including the game website, the Discord bot, sign-in and OAuth pages, bot installation pages, and connected support channels.

## **2. Information We Collect **

We collect information needed to run the game, secure accounts, process purchases, and provide support.

### **Account and authentication data **

- Provider account identifiers (for example Discord, Google, GitHub, Twitch, Twitter/X, Apple, Facebook, or email-based identity where available)
- Provider username, avatar, and email details when provided by the provider and permitted by your account settings

### **Gameplay and profile data **

- Character progression, inventory, skills, missions, achievements, guild membership, and leaderboard information
- In-game social actions such as guild actions, reports, notifications, and trade records
- Gameplay telemetry used for balancing, integrity checks, and service reliability

### **Payment and purchase data **

- Purchase and transaction records (for example premium currency purchases, subscription status, and payment event metadata)
- Payment processor identifiers (such as Stripe session/payment IDs)
- We do not store full payment card numbers in Cy-Noir systems; payment details are processed by the payment provider

### **Technical and device data **

- Session and security logs needed to operate, protect, and troubleshoot the service
- Basic client and request metadata (for example timestamps, route usage, and error traces)

## **3. How We Use Information **

- Provide game functionality and account access across web and Discord
- Save and sync player progress, profile, and social systems
- Detect abuse, cheating, fraud, and unauthorized access
- Process purchases, subscriptions, and refunds where applicable
- Respond to support requests and moderation reports
- Analyze and improve gameplay quality, balance, and platform reliability
- Comply with legal obligations and enforce our Terms of Service

## **4. Legal Bases **

Depending on your location, we process data based on one or more legal bases: contractual necessity (to provide the game), legitimate interests (service security and improvement), consent (where required), and legal obligations.

## **5. Sharing and Disclosure **

We do not sell personal information. We may share limited data with service providers and partners only as needed to run Cy-Noir.

- Authentication providers (for sign-in and identity mapping)
- Payment providers (for purchase and billing processing)
- Hosting, infrastructure, logging, and operational support providers
- Authorities or legal parties where required by law or to protect rights and safety
- Successors in connection with a merger, acquisition, or asset transfer

## **6. Retention **

We keep data for as long as needed to provide the game, protect service integrity, resolve disputes, enforce agreements, and comply with legal obligations. Retention periods vary by data category and legal requirements.

## **7. Security **

We use reasonable technical and organizational safeguards designed to protect data. No system is perfectly secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

## **8. International Data Transfers **

Cy-Noir services and providers may operate in multiple jurisdictions. By using the game, you understand your data may be processed in countries outside your own, subject to applicable safeguards.

Cy-Noir is operated from Canada, and core hosting infrastructure is currently provided from Finland.

## **9. Your Rights and Choices **

Depending on your location, you may have rights to request access, correction, deletion, restriction, portability, or objection to certain processing. You may also request account deletion through in-game settings where available.

To submit a privacy request, use the in-game support flow at [/support](https://cynoir.net/support) or our official support channels.

## **10. Children **

Cy-Noir is not directed to children under the age required by applicable law in your jurisdiction. If you believe a child has provided personal data unlawfully, contact us so we can review and take appropriate action.

## **11. Cookies and Similar Technologies **

We may use cookies, local storage, and similar technologies for session continuity, security, preferences, and analytics needed for service operation.

## **12. Third-Party Platforms **

If you access Cy-Noir through third-party platforms, those platforms may collect and process data under their own policies and terms. Please review the privacy terms for services you use to access Cy-Noir.
